Dr Mark Rickenbach (m)
MBBS DCH FRCP FRCGP PHD FHEA

Qualified: Royal London Hospital 1984

Joined the practice in 1993 after training in medicine at Portsmouth. Within the Practice he undertakes minor surgery, contraceptive coil insertions, and baby clinics. He is a GP trainer and is a clinical lead for research at a Regional level. He has a particular interest in general medical care, paediatrics and eye conditions. Alongside his GP work he also provides appraisals and mentorship for doctors. He was previously an Associate Dean for quality of medical education across Wessex and is currently a Visiting Professor at Winchester university with a focus on healthcare research.

 

Dr Chris Arden (m)
MBBS BSc MRCGP Qualified: London 1992

Has a BSc in physiology and hospital training in general medicine, paediatrics and obstetrics. Within the practice he undertakes minor surgery and has an interest in cardiology, including working two days a week for Southampton Community Healthcare in a community-based cardiac clinic.

 

Dr Julia Terry (f)
MBBS MRCGP FRCS DFFP Qualified: Royal London Hospital 1991

Joined the practice in 2001 having previously worked in Chichester. Prior to training as a GP she had worked and trained in area of general surgery. She has an interest in womens health problems. Julia undertakes minor surgery procedures and coil insertions in the practice.

Qualified: Leeds University 1984

Joined the practice in 2002 after re-locating with her family from Leeds to Hampshire. She is currently working in the Practice three days a week.

 

Dr Samuel Glanville (m)
B Med BSc(Hons) MRCGP MRCP

Qualified: Southampton Medical School 1998

Dr Glanville joined the Practice in 2005 after leaving hospital medicine and subsequently training as a GP. He has a BSc (Honours) in physiology and biochemistry, spent a year in laboratory research, and has also achieved membership of the Royal College of Physicians in addition to membership of Royal College of General Practitioners. His hospital training included paediatrics, general medicine and intensive care. Dr Glanville is joint clinical lead for Diabetes and Research.
