WEST HAMPSHIRE CCG

Clinical Commissioning Groups are regional organisations responsible for local health services in England. As part of the NHS restructuring process, they took over this role from Primary Care Trusts in April 2013.

The West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (WHCCG) was established in June 2011.

West Hampshire is a large area covering a population of 536,000 people, a geographical area of 2,242.4 square kms (865.8 square miles)

There are 54 GP Practices within the area, each being a member of the Clinical Commissioning group.
