OUT OF HOURS ACCESS TO MEDICATION

If you run out of your medicines (excluding controlled medications e.g. diazepam) outside of normal opening hours over the festive period and urgently need a refill, there are a few ways to get an emergency supply quickly, even if you're away from home.

Whether you have a prescription to hand or not, NHS Choices has all the information  you need to access medicines out-of-hours, ranging from finding your local pharmacy or contacting NHS 111 to finding your local walk-in centre.
