Publication of GP Earnings for 2024/25

All GP Surgeries in England and Wales are required to declare the mean average pay for doctors working to deliver NHS Primary care Services.  

The average pay for GPs working in Park and St Francis Surgeries in the last financial year was £90,932 before tax and National Insurance.

This is for 3 full time GPs and 7 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.

Please note that GPs actual "take home" pay is significantly reduced by additional professional expenses.

These include: GMC fees, BMA fees, Royal College fees, Continuing professional development fees and Professional Medical Indemnity insurance.
