GP EARNINGS

Publication of GP Earnings for 2023/24

All GP Practices are required to declare the means earnings (average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS Services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working at St Francis and Park Surgeries in the last financial year was : £70,561.00 before Tax and National Insurance.

This is for the 3 full time GP , 6 part time GPs  and 3 Salaried GPs who worked in the practice for the past 12 months.

Please note that GPs actual "take home" pay is significantly reduced by additional professional expenses.

These include: GMC fees, BMA fees, Royal College fees, Continuing professional development fees and Professional Medical Indemnity insurance.
