CHAPERONE POLICY

A chaperone is a person who can accompany you during any examination or procedure to provide emotional support and reassurance as well as acting as an impartial observer. 

We are committed to doing our best to put patients at ease, wherever possible, and therefore we endavour to provide you with a chaperone service upon request - just ask the Doctor or Nurse that you are seeing and they will arrange this for you. There may (only very occasionally) be cirumstances, however, when suitably trained chaperones are not immediately availible and so the appointment may need to be re-booked for a later date.
